I visited Dr. S.Balasubramaniam at Arya Gowda Road, West Mambalam yesterday for my infant son for his illness. This doctor did not even examine the kid properly. He just did some basic checks without touching the kid and prescribed a medicine. When I asked the Doctor, the reason for the medicine he rudely asked me to get out! saying he doesnt have to say the reason for a medicin, he dint even say what the illness was!
I had another shock in the end. He charged Rs.250 for the consultation, when I asked for the bill he said its Rs 300 if its with bill. I wonder how there are differential rates for a bill, this explicitly shows he is making a mockery of the income tax here and making a business venture out of his profession. I am not expecting a free service from a doctor, but he should justify his medication and produce a bill forthe payment on his consultation.
He looks very arrogant and a total misfit for a paediatric doctor. I would request the parents, Pls do not reach out to this doctor who can morally break you, especially when you are feeling for your kids illness.
