Non receipt of free gift inspite of follow-ups

I usually purchase from Ebay multiple times. On 13 Feb I had done a transaction worth Rs. 5027 via Paisapay ID 26275459377. I was promised a Gift Item of a USB Thumb Drive with 4 GB. Inspite of repeated follow ups, I have till date not yet received any response/update/gift item as promised in the original deal.

History of follow ups :

1. March 1 via email: Ref no GS=C39076 / KMM20506329I15977L0KM

Answered by Mr. Sunny stating as follows :

“I would like to inform you that I have already escalated the case and we have started following up the case with the marketing team. As the gift is being dispatched by the third party so we need to have the update from the marketing team.

I request you to allow us some time and I assure you that once we have the dispatch details i.e. Courier name and Airway bill number we will get in touch with you providing all the information.”

2. May 17 via email: No reply received from Ebay

3. May 29 via phone: KMM27659751I15977L0KM

“At the very outset, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in resolving your query / issue and the inconvenience caused to you. I understand your frustration at not yet reaching a solution regarding the Valentine Promotion Free Gift.

We would need some more time to resolve the query / issue raised by you and request you to bear with us. We will revert to you in 7 working days with the update of your free gift.”

I am extremely disappointed by the quality of services provided by a multinational company like Ebay.
