Techvelvety Solutions – Company without credentials
I am a person who likes to respect & value time. But here I am wasting my time writing about a company who failed to deliver, a company with very poor standards, a company who delivered only promises and delays, a company whose boss Mr Mohit Rohatgi dosent do his homework and just makes big promises.
Let me start from the start. I am a passout from symbiosis and wanted to start something of my own. It was a dotcom. Working in New Delhi, I wanted a company based in New Delhi to give me the results (a site like slideshare was my idea). I was searching and came across this company techvelvety via justdial. I had invited quotes from many places and techvelvety also sent me the quote. Now Mr Mohit started tracking me aggressively and I met him at Rajiv Chowk 2 times. He gave me elaborate documents praising his company, quote price was also pretty decent (not cheap but a bit towards costly- I managed to reduce from 60K to 50K). The documents had also a lot of more gyaan reagarding internet, now will it help and other marketing gimmick. He also shared with me a list of sites which have been made by techvelvety, but I didn’t notice that none of those sites had techvelvety written on the bottom. Later when I checked the few sites which were actually made by them had designmed by techvelvety written on bottom. Continuing I paid them some money. He was supposed to deliver in 3 weeks time. That didn’t happen (23rd July). It got extended to 10th August (only after I enquired). Again missed the timeline (please note that all the times he gave the timeline and not me). And on 30th August we finally met without a very shabby website without any functionality. Only basic outline was there. I finally told him to let me know whether you can deliver or not and in case not we will look at the money factor (I had already paid him 15K out of 50K). on 7th September he gave up saying he cant deliver that website and also asked for 10K more saying his lots of hard work has gone in trying to make the website. Also he now says the website should ideally take 2.5 lakhs to be built. Also he refused to give the server details (where the site was hosted) and even didn’t give the domain name access. Even I didn’t try much since even after I would have tried I would have got more than 5K from him. Since I had became aware about his site from justdial, I wrote a review on justdial and also mentioned the name of the site since he has access to the website server details he suspended that account. I wrote such a blog, such a long review so that the way I have been duped I really want nobody else to fall in that trap. You can write techvelvety on google and check out the actual sites made by them ex are http://conceptstree.com/ or http://ektapackers.com/
They are able to make sites only on joomla and you can see all their templates style everything is common. When initially I had asked them how many people work in techvelvety he replied saying 65 but I once went to his office and was flabbergasted to see his office. That was when I realized I had really made a terrible mistake.
I have no hard feelings but I simple don’t want people to be duped fooled. Do due diligence at your end before making your investment. Also last but not the least after investing 15K 3 months, at the end i got nothing. no hosting space details, no domain name account being on my name, no money in return, no code of whatever website techvelvety had tried to made and most importantly no website.
