I had ordered a BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone through an Indiatimes Shopping advertisement in Delhi Edition of Times of India dated 12th May on page 2 (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Default/Client.asp? skin=pastissues2&enter=LowLevel) it is clearly mentioned in the advertisement that the phone is GSM 850/900/1800/1900 which means that this phone should support the GSM Sim, i.e. it should support Vodafone Delhi/NCR sim. Also I asked this thing while placing the order whether the phone is GSM or CDMA, then they said me that this is a GSM Handset.
I placed the order on 12th May with order number as 112993986 dated 12th May and I had paid in advance through the Credit Card and I got my Mobile on 19th May through courier. When I opened the product it, then I found it to be a CDMA Set whose IMEI or MEID HEX is A000000D0886E6.
Also the phone is touch screen but the it is not working by touching the screen so I am not been able to use any of the function of the phone. i think that I have been supplied with a faulty Handset intentionally.
I am provided with a Folding Blade Charger which we can not use here in India normally.
I contacted the customer care that at very moment and they registered my complaint and gave me the complaint number as 831045.
I want me phone replaced within 5-6 days that is before 25th May. My contact number is 9990939011. I want to you say you all that all these online shopping companies specially Indiatimes are a big Cheater.
