Beam Telecom - Wrong Billing & Harassment

Hi,

This is Sriram Venkatakrishnan from Hyderabad residing in Suchitra and fed up with wrong billing and aberrant behaviour from Beam Telecom.

I had raised a complaint regarding my wrong billing on September 4th (Ticket No:-6071748). I was charged Rs1008 instead of my monthly plan of Rs610. I also made them know that due to this issue, I am not able to make payment online. I requested them to provide immediate solution, if needed can send their representative to my house to collect the differential amount. But asked them not to disconnect my connection, as its important for me to work from home.

To my surprise, they didnt heed to any of my request & disconnected my connection on 8th September. I am not aware how a telecom company can disconnect a connection without taking the consent of a customer & at a time when a tickect is already lodged for the same. I have made numerous calls to customer care, only to fall on deaf ears. A ticket was updated for the same at afternoon (Ticket N.o:-6071748). When i saw no response from them till evening, I requested them to connect my call to either the account department or the manager, to which they told that they dont have provision to connect to either of those. They later placed my call on hold for long time & tried reaching supevisor. They couldn't reach him & promised a call within an hour (New ticket raised:-6096362/6093712). I didnt recieve any call till night 9, when i called them again & asked the reason, they made false claim that they tried to reach me & the mobile was switched off. This time also they placed my call on hold for long time & finally was able to reach the supervisor. He promised me to resolve my issue as the first thing the next morning, since it was too late.

I didnt receive any call from Beam even the next day. I tried reaching them again at 10 AM & asked them to connect my call to supervisor, even after reapeted attempts couldn't speak to him. They told that the issue is escalated & I would be receiving a call soon. I didnt recieve any call till 2 PM & to my shock they closed the opened ticket. I called them again & informed about this issue (New ticket opened:-6113634). Again i was promised for a solution by 6:30 in the evening. They niether called me nor informed the status of my ticket till 9 PM. I called them again at 9, they told me that they could not resolve my issue, since it is sunday & billing department was available only till 2 PM. I was promised a call from supervisor & account team the next day morning.

Today, its already 12 Noon & i am yet to receive a call from the supervisor and the billing team. Now i got another message stating my ticket is closed, it was not new. Tickets are raised for every call & closed before 24 hr, without customer consent. Till today i have spent a lot of money calling them up & without net connection for more than 2 days. More than that it is the mental agony i have undergone in making repeated calls & failure to get any results. Unable to understand, why am i penalised for their deeds. They are harassing a subscriber by their high-handedness and callous attitide. I seek an apology letter from Beam telecom & also compensation for my money spent.

Looking for a speedy solution.
