Activation Failure

Hi,

I bought a MTS product named MBlaze for wireless internet surfing as I'm a frequent traveller and needs internet access on the go. On 13th Sep I bought the product from SPICE HOTSPOT - Address - C 127, Rex Optical House, Naraina Industrial Area, PH-1, Delhi. mobile # 09717794267. The store person asked me to provide a copy of my driving license and a copy of front page of bank pass book for address verification. The required documents were provided to the HotSpot guy and he informed that the device will be activated within 24 hours. Next day it started working as promised so I was pretty much happy working with the device however unfortunately after 3 days of successful working the device stopped working and it started to give my an error message stating " the username / password does not match to the settings". I tried it for a day or so but it still didn't work so finally I decided to go to the SPICE HOTSPOT shop from where i got the device. I went to the store and I informed about the situation to a guy named RAHUL, who said that the documents which were provided at the point of sale were not sufficient and the activation request got declined however he assured me that the documents have been re-sent to the MTS activation dept. and it will be activated in next 7 days. The next day I had to leave for Mumbai and I had to face serious trouble because of that non working MBLAZE device.

When I came back from Mumbai after a week's time I again went to the HOTSPOT shop to check the status for the same as the device was still not working. And this time they gave me another excuse telling me that the documents which i provided were not sufficient and now they wanted me to provide a copy of bank statement for approval. I was so much pissed off by listening to this excuse as its the HOTSPOT people who are selling the product so they should know what all documents are required for the activation rather that me checking back again and again after 2 days, 5 days and so on. It was already 2 weeks after the purchase and I was only able to use the device for only 3 days. The thing which was pissing me off was that I paid Rs 1800 (900 Montly rental 900 Device charges) and i was not able to use the services for more than 3 days. Finally I provided them a copy of bank statement as well and then they reassured me that it will start working in next 2 days but as again false commitement the device was not working and this time I went straight to the SHOP and met RAHUL who was my point of contact for all this mess. This time i went with the bloody device and threw it on his face and demanded for a complete refund as the device and the services both were good for nothing. RAHUL tried to defense himself and said that he will call his senior and will get this checked etc. all lame excuses as usual... after a long argument I took down the STORE MANAGER's Name and Number - ANUPAM and Cell # 9560295113 and also got down the number for the HEAD of activation for North delhi region. It was Saturday when Rahul made a commitement that tomorrow by 12 PM it will start working.

On sunday I waited for the device to work but as expected the device was not working and then I tried calling the STORE MANAGER ANUPAM on his cell phone and to my surprise the cell number did not exist. Its hightime now that I'm being a victim of false commitments and being treated as a non valued customer. I did not pay 1800 bucks to use internet services for MERE 3 DAYS...

I would request you to to help me get some kind of compensation for all the inconvinience as I should not be the one paying 900 bucks to surf internet for 3 days... Kindly take my request into account and act appropriately.
