Poor connectivity and speed

I own a MTS MBlaze data card and I have only regret and pain. I wish I checked out Reliance or IDEA instead of this piece of crap. I had paid Rs. 1050 for the data card and the initial plan of 800. Over the next few months, I took the Rs. 800 recharge on three different occasions. All together, I have spent about Rs. 4, 000 on this useless piece of waste.

I am not a heavy user and did not use this data card much. I brought this card in March and used it on a few occasions since. However, every time I used this crap, I had to go through the pain of calling MTS support. I was promised 3000 KBPS download speed. Instead, I get anything between two and sixty KBPS. Never once has it gone above 100 KBPS!

This is the reason why I did not use MTS often. In the end, I had to rely on my trusted wired internet. Some time back, however, I decided to use MTS. It was the same story all over again. After I called up MTS support, they finally told me the reason for my problem. I could not believe their response!

Mumbai is among the finest cities in South Asia. You can expect any products or services here, even if they are beyond your reach. I live in Mumbai. You would think I have everything. Well, I don't have a proper MTS connectivity – I am very far from the MTS tower! That was the reason the agent, on behalf of the shameless company, gave me. It seems I was 700 meters from the tower. That's why I had a wonderfully miserable time. When I asked how long before this problem would be resolved, I was told that it would TAKE TIME – days, weeks, months or even years! I had created a ticket in August and so it’s already been three months. I would expect such a response if I live on the outskirts of Mumbai or in some rural area. But, I live near the airport! I live near Bandra-Kurla Complex. I live in the heart of Mumbai!

The customer service agent asked me at the end of the call, “How was the resolution, Sir? ”. I replied, “Where was the resolution, Ma’m? ”.

I have had a miserable experience with MTS. I have decide to put an end to this misery. If anyone’s reading this, please suggest me some good alternatives.
