My new connection given to some other custome

Hi,

This is Ganesh. I had applied for the new Airtel Broadband connection on 11 June '10.

But did not receive any updates for more than 10 days. So I tried to call up the guy who I gave the application to. He said, the connection cannot be give, due to unavailability of ports. Two days later, Airtel customer care called me up and said that connection could be in 20 days.

Again their was no responce. I tried calling up the customer care and inquired about the status. Their was a commitment again within 7 days the connection would be given. No hope again.

After a long wait, I had a SMS from Airtel that my application been processed and the connection would be given in 3 days, on 23rd July '10.

And today's date is 30th July '10. No one is properly responding to my calls. I had spoken to multiple escalation teams/managers and they try to say it would take another 7 days andthis 7 days remains constant from any day you call.

I have no clue what is been happening and not sure what should I do.

I do not want my money back, but a value to my long wait.

I am also planning to go to the consumer court and looking for it.
