Non-Refund of Money

I had registered for availing Airtel Broadband services for my computer at home. Airtel sent a technician home to complete the formalities of the connection. He collected all the documents required for setting up the connection and informed me that the connection will be setup within a week. However, the connection never got setup. I had paid them a fee of Rs. 1500/- towards installation charges of a wireless modem. However, it has been more than 2 weeks now and i have not yet received the refund.

They have not even followed up with us to provide any status updates. I have had to call them multiple times without any results.

I have spoken to the Airtel Branch supervisor (Guruprasad) at Electronics city. His mobile number is 9538887888. He had informed me that the money will be refunded within a week. It has been more than 2 weeks now and there has been no response from Airtel. When i spoke to him earlier today, he informed me that he is out of station and will not be able to help me. I want to file a formal complaint againt Airtel for the inconvienience caused and need help in recovering the intial deposit of Rs. 1500.
