I have purchased airtel broadband, and they had this scheme, that the person having airtel digital tv and airtel broadband will receive double broadband speed upto 1 year.
Now, as I am eligible for the scheme, i contacted airtel customer care about this offer many times, by email and by phone. But every time I received this strange reply, that because I have paid for 6 months in advance
, they cannot give me this service and I must wait 6 months, if the offer will still be available after 6 months, than they will give me this service.
I am highly disappointed by their lame excuse. I have paid in advance because I need the broadband for long time, and this made me unqualified for their offer??

I am thinking to go in consumer court.
I am also going to post negative feedback in discussion forums about airtel.
