I had applied for a telephone broadband connection on 5th july vide application number CH1035568 from one Malathi.
I was promised a connection within 2 days time.
I had been following up with the sales person and i was directed to 044-44444121 by her to know the status of the application.
As per them the connection will come only by 16th July and not 2 days as committed by Malathi.
I had raised this false promise with Malathi and she now does not pick calls from my number.
I had taken up cancellation but the call centre 44444121 nor the nodal Officer - (Santosh on behalf of Jairaj 044 42100356) - did not take up the request quoting they will take this up only after the mandatory time line of 16th july.
on 8th July, I had contacted Appellate Authority 044 34822932, one Aravind on behalf of Surendran. He had taken up the request for cancellation and complaint number was given as 34822932.
Immediately after giving cancellation order i got a call from installation team and they said it will be installed within next 1 hour. Nobody came till 8.00pm that night.By 8.15pm someone came made the connection, made few calls from the telephone line. Then he left with the telephone instrument.
I had taken this up with appeallate authority- same guy aravind on 044 42039583 again and he promised a call back within 7.30pm on 9th july. But till this time he has not bothered to call back.
On 13th i got a call from their installation team around 10.00am saying they will come and install within next 1 hour. Nobody came and in the night after 9.00 someone turned up without any id card or uniform and i had to refuse entry.
Now I am not having any connection and my money is also gone. Even if they give connection it will have all the calls made by the installation guy on 8th july.
Airtel tunred out to be an unprofessional organisation without any ethics and code of conduct. Their Appeallate Authority itself is such useless that he cannot enforce anything or bring any resolution.
