No connection given, still received 1000Rs

Hi,

I registered for Airtel Broadband connection (Airtel 499 Combo plan) by giving my Address to check the connection feasibility, after which one of the local Airtel Executive reached my home to receive Rs 1000/- as Installation charge & also received documents for address proof & identity proof with an Application Number/SEF NO: MYS0019821, a copy of the same has been handed over to me as receipt in the first week of February.

But after a week, when the i enquired about the connection then Airtel executive reverted saying, that connection could not be provided as there is some technical issue. Hence i requested him to return back my installation charge of Rs 1000/- which was paid while registering for connection. But till now, Airtel has not returned the amount.

I have requested many times to return back Rs 1000/- by calling Airtel Customer care & as well as Airtel executive but none of them turned back. Pertaining to this, i have lodged a complaint with Airtel with a Complaint Number: 29813330 on 22nd Feb. But till date no prompt action initiated at their end. Then again, on 22nd March lodged another complaint with Airtel with a Complaint Number 30744490 & escalated the same to Nodal Officer. Then nodal officer & customer care people started calling me and told that it was my fault that i didn’t receive the amount. What should i do now?
