I use Airtel services (Postpaid mobile and Broadband) for more than 2 years with out any issues. I recently moved from Jafferkhanpet to Madipakkam; requested Airtel to shift the Broadband connection to new address (Request no. 41417252). I got different answers from Customer care saying connection can be shifted in 3 working days, 15 days and 1 month??? really frustrated; finally I wrote to the Nodal officer but no use.

I called the customer care again to check the status, the agent replied that the DB box at my location (Madipakkam, Chennai) is full so the connection can be shifted only by creating a new port or need to wait till some one cancels the connection. It will take atleast 1 month. I wonder how could a company advertise as No. 1 Private Telecom provider in the country with over 18 million customers in the world can't even provide Broadband connection to a Metro like Chennai??
