We had booked a Broad connection with Airtel in Ist week of February and on 14.02.2010 - Mr. Adesh collected a cheque of Rs. 2, 148/= after completing all documents. Customer copy was provided to us duly signed by him and we were told that within a couple of days the connection will be installed at our given address. After all verification or so, the cheque encashment was done on 24.02.2010 (after 10 days) by Airtel... but till date (even after two months) Airtel has not provided / installed the same.
All given numbers of Airetel always remained not responding and, hence, contacted at Toll-free number. Initially the Executive refused to find any such data in her system and after approx. 25 minutes, she assured me to check the same from concered department and the broadband will be installed within 24 hrs.positively. Thereafter - no response for 10 days and at last, on 10.03.2010 at 11 p.m. (night hrs.), we made a call to Tollfree number and ater 45 minutes (approx. 20-25 calls were disconnected by Executives on duty) - when we blasted at the Executive like anything, Mr. Prakash provided us the status that "Our application had already been rejected on 08.03.2010 and file has been moved to concerned department for refund purpose. As per rules, within 21 days Airtel Executive will handover the refund chqeue at our residence."
Now, after last telecon, one month has passed - nobody had visited us to refund our money nor anybody is provided us exact status. Earlier we were using Sify broadband but taking consideration of Airtel, we unsubscribed our Sify Connection too. Still we are in dalema that - Will we get our money back from Airtel or not???
