Issue in new connection

This is my complaint against Airtel broadband provider. My Application (CFE) number is 2936119, and my contact number is 9717-221235.

This is my third bad experience with Airtel. Which make me think if the company really has some base or is it just a bubble winning due to their marketing strategy.

I believe Airtel has all the money to invest in marketing by paying SRK, AR Rehman or to sponsor F1, but has no commitment to customer service.

I am resident of AmbaG Appartment, Indirapuram. I applied for Internet by calling Airtel customer care. Within 1 hour, I got a call from Mr. Gaurav Sharma for documentation collection, which impressed me. N.N Sharma came and collected the papers. I had paid 500Rs to the guy, which I understand is the security fees.

The executive told me that the connection will be installed within 2-3 days. But the connection is not yet installed at my place.

When I call back the person, he gave me another contact number of Mr Hemant. Even he dont have answers to my request. In past 4 days, I have made atleast 20 calls to these three people. These calls can be tracked from my airtel mobile connection. Everytime they have an excuse for it. Hemant will say the customer care will contact you soon, but I never got any call.

After getting frustrated, I called Airtel Customer care (@ 0120 4444121) to enquire directly from Airtel. I got this answer by their executive Khusboo:-

"Sir due to some technical upgrade I am not able to retrieve any customer's information. Can you pls call after 4 hours".

Just to inform everyone, this was not a new response to me. I have listen this answer atleast 6-7 time from Airtel previously.

This made me point finger to IBM too. Are they really such a fool who made their actual production servers down just for a software upgrade. Or their application are crap enough to be down anytime when customer call them, or is this just an standard answer by customer care executive so that their shift will change and they will go home.

I believe these people forgets the customer once they receive the signing amount. This made me really feel bad about the company image and their pathetic service.
