I was using Airtel BB, IP TV and Fixed phone subscription from quite long. My account number : 1518039.
I have requested for disconnection of Airtel services on 5th Feb and ensured all my outstanding was cleared till date and confirmed there was NO outstanding on my subscription.
Called them couple times for requesting them to disconnect the connection ASAP and collect all the instruments late by 13th feb as i have to vacant my house before that date. Keep on reminding them again and again to disconnect the service and collect the instruments within 7 -8 days which ideally is Airtel's SLA, no action has been taken.
When i relocated myself to different location, i got started getting calls from Airtel customer care to check if i want to continue with the service or wants to disconnect the subscription. I always opted to discontinue with services and request them every time to cancel my subscription.
Infact i follow up couple of time to confirm if my request has been processed or not. Every time disappointed with the response from Airtel and every other executive ensured that it will be done within a week’s time. Couple of reference number of my request are 1401365, 45393162, 1467653 unfortunately i lost 4, 5 reference numbers.
Same practice from Airtel has been continued for couple of months, but subscription was active and no one really bothered to close the connection.
Now days they started calling me and telling me if i want to close my subscription then i have to pay them some amount. When i asked for the what amount this is.. they replied it's an outstanding from march to june. I am simply fail to understand what sort of outstanding they are talking about. When i seek for justification as i am not using this subscription from last 4-5 months why do i pay the amount, Airtel customer care only keep on repeating this amount i have to pay if i want to close my account otherwise they keep on adding the charges on it.
I am seeking an explanation from Airtel, when i requested to close my subscription on 5th feb, cleared all outstanding till that time, given them 8 days to come and collect all their instruments/devices. When no action has been taken then, why the hell they are asking me for the charges for serive which i haven't used.
These guys are so much irritating they have N number of different ideas how to frustrate there customer. They also start send text message to deposited instrument and device. How comes i send them devices which i left at my previous residence.
They are simply stupid guide who nowhere understand what rubbish they are speaking to their customer. This is really ridiculous and pathetic service of Airtel. They only know how to cheat there customer and frustrate them.. so they never ever even think to use any Airtel service in future.
Kindly ask for an explanation from airtel Why do i need to pay a single penny to them when i don’t have outstanding of any amount. Also requesting you to place take strict action against Airtel to immediately close my subscription, STOP sending me those ridiculous sms and never give me any call for any sort of outstanding on my subscription.
