Wrong Billing

Dear Sir,

I was having an Airtel Vas DSL connection vide Login ID / phone No. 01147527287, account No.14855005, Name Arun kumar aggarwal. at my residence - 216, C/ 7, Sector 8, Rohini, Delhi.

In the last week of Oct.09, I requested for its disconnection. The same was disconnected w.e.f. 06.11.09.The same was confirmed by an airtel executive over phone.

I got the bill for the month concerned (Billing Period - 23.10.09 to 22.11.09) where prorata rent was charged up to the date of disconnection. It was fine, i paid the bill.

Since than i have not used either phone or internet. In the meantime i got various calls from airtel for various plans etc., i refused every time since i did not want any service.

Now i have got another bill for the period 23.11.09 to 22.12.09 amounting to Rs. 716/-.

On contacting their customer care service i was informed that my connection has been reactivated again for the reasons best known to them only.

Moreover i never agreed/ asked for reactivation, neither i was informed about this.

It is a clear case of unfair practice adopted by the company to get business.

such kind of things are giving bad name to airtel.

I do hereby request to all concerned :

- to reverse this wrong bill of Rs. 716/- under intimation to me

- deactivate my account with immidiate effect under confirmation to me

- take appropriate action against the responsible staff under intimation to me
