I have got IPTV connection from airtel 3-4 months back by paying 1799. Since then my broadband and IPTV services were very unreliable as it disconnects at any time. I had raised many service requests (at least 7-8) for same during this period. Since the problem was not persistent, they sometimes changed wire, but, I continued to face this problem.
finally last week my router (provided by airtel) has given up and not working at all. When I asked them to replace it, they said that I needed to buy new one as airtel has changed policy of replacing modem from July 22nd!!
Can you believe it? I have purchaged new router (DLINK) for 2500/- and was able to configure with internet but not with IPTV, thus I called CC and they told this router is not supported for IPTV and i have to buy the same router (BINATONE)!!!. now this router is not available in market. What should I do it now?
This is very frustrating that once upon a time Airtel was superb in Broadband market... now they are just loosing because of worst customer service.
Have been customer of airtel for more than 3 years... this is first time I am seeing such pathetic service. :(
