Dear Sirs

ITS: Order Item Id 3001081058:00001-Complaint Nos: 394412, 355073 & 308020

Based on the advertisement in Times of India, I placed an order for Roti Maker offer

on16th April this item when received was inspected and I found the casserole

was damaged and Roti Maker when put to use shockingly did not function as

advertised. I immediately complained and was given complaint No; 308020 and after several reminders they asked me return the item and accordingly the item was returned

With a promise by Indiatimes Shopping-Operations Head that refund will be made soon.

But despite numerous reminders and e.mails over the past 4 months no refund was made and Indiatimes Shoping -Operations Head and their staff kept me telling on e.mails & on telephone inquiry that matter is attended and refund will come soon. Based on my experience and after carefully considering the response to my inquiries with ITS staff and response by ITS by e.mail I came to the conclusion that:

1. ITS in collusion with Merchant vendor/suppliers supply defective/sub standard goods.

2. ITS after complaints by customer gives them complaint no and either asks customers to return the item or don’t bother and if they ask to return the item then they do not refund the monies to the customer.

3. ITS keeps on assuring the customers that complaint is attended to and soon action will be taken

4. Customer after no response by ITS on inquiry comes to know that his file is closed and a new number is alloted and is assured by ITS staff that the matter will be attended to and action taken soon.

5. The above process of “file closed” continous several months and every time a new complaint no is given to customer until customer gets fed up and stops complaining.

6. ITS in collusion with Merchant Vendors/Suppliers benefit from the goods as well as returned goods.

7. The Head of Operation together with some staff appear to be sharing this loot.

8. This is unfair practice tantamount to cheating/indulging in fraudlant activities.

9. ITS Head of Operations or their staff will never give you the e.mail address or contact address of the ITS Managing Director/Times of India Managing Director

Where complaints can be brought to their attention.

Please assist if possible and also get me the e.mail ID / Tel Nos; of Managing Director of Indiatimes Shopping & Times of India.

We request you to please wait for resolution we are working our level best to resolve your concern.
