Warranty period services

This is with reference to service to be provided after sales of “Aqua flow”.

I have purchased it on Nov.24, from Dream Electronics Ltd, Gandhinagar with bill no: B-1/881 date 24/11.While purchase, they gave understanding that there will be one year warranty and during this time the company will provide free give service every six month with replacement of two candles free of cost each time. At that time they also gave me Ahmedabad customer service no. 30110151.

After completion of six month and before the end of Nov. 15, (i.e. before expiry of warranty period) no body turned up to enquire @ its working condition. Therefore, I approached the dealer and explain the status. This time they tried to convince me that there is no free service of any kind within one year of purchase. I stated that I was already given to understand while ordering this system to have above benefits. On insistence of their real promise, they advised me to contact Company’s service centre no 30110151 given to me nearly one year earlier. I tried several days but could not establish contact and approached to the dealer and look about the correct number. However, they continued to explain mentioning that they have already contacted two days back to the company. I believed in his words and tried up to Nov. 23. On next day, I went immediately, near from his office after dialing the no 30110151, not responded, and told this number seems to be changed. They tried and failed. They searched other number requesting company’s A’bad office to give correct number of service centre which was 30177906. They explain the status, as well as gave my contact number, and registered my complain for service

On contacting this number on Nov. 28. they advised me to contact the company’s office no.30189069 as the warranty period has expired and further gave me a number 30189069 to inform the status of complain. They heard my case and advise to give two to three days time to see the case from your company’s central pool. And they requested to contact Mr. Hiren Trivedi. He contacted me on Dec.1 and gave assurance that after verification from Company’s record, he will send service center staff for service.

The service staff approached me on Dec 3 and cleaned/washed only turbidity candle with potable water and refitted. They cheeked the carbon candle but not refilled nor replaced. He tried to explain me that this service is out of warranty period and even during warranty period replacement of any candle is not at free of cost. He insisted for annual service contract but I did not agreed looking to their behavior and approach to customer. I requested the person to change carbon candle on payment basis which he said this time it will be rs. 135/- but at other time it will be rs.250/-. He promised to come back after attending service in the vicinity within half an hour and will do the job, but he did not turned up. I understand he had come this time even only to grab service contract and not interested in providing last service of warranty period.

In this circumstance, I want the clarification about services to be provided by the company during the warranty period and the help from the company to resolve the issue.
