Booked e-ticket from irctc and unforutunately missed the train by 2 minutes.
Aksed to pune station master for alternative arrangement to board any ohter train but refused for the same. Told colleagues to cancel e-ticket but unable to cancel ticket.
Booked bus ticket and reached the destination.
Filed a TDR for refund claim with reason - Passenger not boarded in train - passenger not travelled.
Earlier status for TDR was admin appoved but now it is showing Regret.
Reason provided for refusal is totally unjustifiable.- Passenger travelled.
I have a transport register mentioning for travel by bus and colleagues who tried to cancel e-ticket.
Despite of this if this is the style of a earning a profit to railway then consumer court is the best way.
Huble request not to book e-ticket - because ircts is 100% efficient in collecting a money but
100% failure in providing a refund. Please check the number of customer complaint.
