This is with regards to a retail store situated in Hubli by name Ashirwad Sweets into the business of Sweets & Snacks. I had visited this shop today the 3rd Jan Sunday in the morning to purchase namkeen (Snacks) at around 7 am itself. After waiting for 45 minutes I was given 500 gms as required by me with a condition that I have to purchase equal amount (500 gms) of Sweet compulsarily. I denied to purchase the sweets. On this pretext the shop owner took back the namkeen and said it is available only if sweets are purchased. When I purchased both the items as I had already waited for almost an hour and my family was waiting for the sunday morning snack I was astonished to see that he charges an exhorbitant price of Rs.180 per kg & Rs.220 per kg where as in the market the same snacks n sweets are available at half the price & When I demanded for bill he simply refused to give the same and his straight forward words were "Chahiye toh lo nahi toh Chodo- Bill nahi milega".
This attitude is simply not acceptable. Requesting you to kindly take stringent action against such arrogant businessmen who take the general public for a ride by harassing them and extorting money in broad daylight.
