Respected Sir,

I here by bring to your kind notice that I had lost my Mobile Phone – Model: Motorola W375 consist of IMEI # 355842-01-063620-3 worth Rs. 3150/- along with digital camera worth Rs. 8000/-, AA/AAA - Battery Charger worth Rs.350/-, Wrist Watch Worth Rs.4500/- and other items like saving set, body spray, visiting card pouch etc., in a khaki colour (shoulder) Leather Bag, during my train journey.

I here by request you to kindly register a complaint and do necessary action to retrieve back all the lost items mentioned above by tracing the IMEI # 355842-01-063620-3 of my mobile consist of cell# 91- 9840356177.

Information in Detail

I was traveling back to Chennai from Kerala, Chengannur in coach # S5, Train # 2624 under ticket PNR # 421-0256696 dated 29-09 along with my family members.

We all boarded down at Permbur Railway Station, but by oversight I missed my bag (mentioned above) on upper berth # 8, and found missing after the train moved away from the station. Immediately I went and reported it to the Station master (on duty that point of time) and he had made a phone call to central railway station and informed the matter. Then he told me that ‘the train has not yet reached central railway station, so don’t worry, go and approach the station master and or the platform inspector the may collect your bag and keep it safely’. Trusting his words I went and approached the Station Master, Dy. Station master and Platform Inspector at central railway station, but none of them has the bag and none of them claim that they received any information about the bag.

By this time the Train # 2624 was taken to the yard, so they all advised me to go to the yard and approach Lever – 20 Section. I took an auto and went to the yard and approached Lever – 20 Section and the person in-charge advised me to yard platform # NL-8 were the train was parking. I alone went there and got into S5 coach of the train and searched but the bag was not there. So I came back and reported to Lever – 20 Section and the to Station Master, Dy. Station master and Platform Inspector at central railway station, based on their instruction I given a complaint to the RPF police station in Central Railway Station. My complaint was only noted in a long size note book along with my address and phone #, but no paper regarding that was not given to me. The RPF police station said that the will call me if they found my belongings.

I here by making this complaint to your department, as one of my friends suggested that the mobile can be traced out with the help of IMEI # by your department, so that the person who took my bag can also be found out and may retrieve the lost items back

Note : 1) when I Call my lost cell # 91-9840356177, the call is forwarded to voice mail and I have not yet informed the cell phone service provider Air Tel regarding this issue.

The above mentioned information is true and best of my knowledge. Kindly help me to get my lost items back.
