About two months ago Barclay credit card offered me a life time free VISA credit card, I have not used their card still now but I am highly astonished after receiving a bill of Rs.6741.60/- in their account statement Ref No.08112008046691. Calling to their customer service department, I came to know that they have offered me Barclaycard priority membership and charged the amount for that without my consent. Their representative also not clarified any such membership and its financial liability at the time of offering. I have requested them to withdraw the bill immediately three times by e-mail but they are not responding and sending SMS continously for the payment within the due date 28/11/08. I tried to call their higher authority but they are not receiving the call. Now can any one suggest me that what will be my action if they try to recover the ammount by applying any unfair means?
