Hi,
I hold a Barclays Credit Card and had some amount outstanding on it, which I was unable to pay by due date due to some medical treatment I am going through so could not find time to drop the cheque.
I was contacted a couple of times by their collection department and they said that their executive would come and hand me the statement that was due, which I had lost and would in return take the cheque for the charges on the card.
I did get a call from their executive and he only wanted the cheque and he was not carrying the statement, I informed I would need to check the statement first
Finally I agreed to pay them some lump sum amount without getting the statement as I would not get time later.
On 08th July I got a call from their company at 4.22 A.M. which is not at all appreciated as I am also undergoing some medication. I am highly shocked by such an unproffessional way of work.
Please advise how I can take some step of action against them
