My Name is Hrishikesh H. Sawant Card no 4339 4816 2503 1139.
Recently around 15 - 20 days back I have received a call from your priority circle department promising some free holidays, some discount scheme.
First I got a call and was informed that I have qualified for your priority circle for which I will be receiving free gifts known to you.
I confirmed with the executive that if there are any charges I won’t be interested
I was informed and assured that there are no charges attached to priority circle, it is being given after seeing your good relation with Barclays and only if you take our free holiday there you need to payee Rs. 500/- and you will be the priority circle.
I was shocked to see that Rs 8569.80 is the balance payable by me.
I crossed check my statement and I come to know that an amount of Rs 6741.60 has been charged for priority circle.
I received SMS on 01/10 for welcome to priority circle will get welcome letter is on your way if not received next 7 days call on customer care.
After I received statement I call to customer care I asked about charges and I like to conform my conversation with your executive.
As all conversation is happen on telephone there should be to way communication as your executive not able to give me the records of telephone conversion happened on 28 Sep 2008. As executive giving the reason that, we do not have such facility with us.
As customer I want to confirm my conversion as there I have not received any letter from your side as I asked about the welcome letter of Priority Circle it will only received when I do the full payment.
I have not got a single written word on the priority circle benefits which will be availaible to me for which you have charged me on my credit card. At least I cannot keep a proof of recorded voice which your executive has offered me so as to fight and claim the benefits from you.
I am spending considerable time in writing this note. I want someone to look in to this matter immediately and cancel the priority circle membership.
Secondly please put an enquiry on the conversation which took place between me and that foolish executive..
I have forwarded the same complaint to the Indian Consumer complaint forum. I wish to extend my complaint to the court if I don’t receive any co operation from your side...
