Dear Barklay Bank,
I have one concern regarding the wrong delay charges added in my credit card account.i had already paid my dues in time via cheque, but i got debit of approximate Rs.600 in my credit card account. Last week i had received the credit card bill in which barklay added approx Rs.600 as delay payment charges and with the remark that i had submitted the cheque of others account, but my concern is that if i am not denied to pay the amount which i already did then why barklay added DPC.If they have any problem with cheque then why they are not informing thru their helpline ppl who is always available when they are aiming to achieve their sales target.where is customer service thing in their bank. I don't why your helpline ppl only call to confirm that we paid the amount or not, why they are not resolving the problem if any customer ask about the resolution of their issues. They have only one answer we cant help you in that.i had got 2 to 3 calls daily for payment and every time i told them that i already paid please tell me where is the problem, but they don't know anything and they are like answering machine which never help us to get the problem resolved... i already submitted the cheque again but where is my previous cheque, no one inquired about the cheque and how i will get my that cheque back.
Its my 1st credit card and i applied this credit card with the faith that this firm is new and might have different view toward customer satisfaction, but i think i was wrong.
Now i thinking i should surrender barklay credit card if barklay will not waive the DPC charges which totally unacceptable.
