Sir/madam

Your reply is not satisfactory due to following reasons:

1) You have not mentioned minimum ammount due and telling me to do something else to achieve that.

2) You smart enough to regret the delay in not receiving the statements (Actually it is sending and not receiving).

The term "DELAY" ensures delevery of statements late (how many days?), but I am confirming I did not receive from

last three months (delay cannot justified for 3 months). Whenever amount was to be paid 0.00 RS, I was receiving the

same. Can you give me audited documentary prove and explain me why? Your executives were also regreting the same way

during telephonic talk but because of your fault I had to pay the penalties. Now also I have to pay the penalty till I

receive the statement. earlier Iwas putting the cheque at least eight days before 12th of the month, but you were showing

in the next statement one day late with penalties for late charges. This is accumulative unhappiness I am expressing.

Small mistakes can be forgiven. I am also holding a responsible post in big organisation having M. Tech qualification.

I know very well what is buisiness, but you are doing it in dirty manner.

3) You are sending duplicate copy of the statements (again chargeable) of which I did not receive original one.

4) Everybody will not have sufficient time all the time to follow other alternatives of which you are taking due advantage.

5) Please take this mail as to do whatever neccessary to discontinue the card services. I do not want to renew it again

for which date is august. Please do not send a card again to me, otherwise I will have to take this matter to higher

up including TV show "Paheredaar".

All the best for your business.

An unhappy customer

Sir/Madam

No reply yet?

After so much follow up I received long pending 3 months bill statement that too zerox copy.

Followings are the comments on the bill.

A) bill dated 19nov08 to 18dec08

1) I have not received the bill statement at proper time because you have not sent it.

2) I paid 13000.00 check blindly but bill was 13484.53. I could have paid entire ammount if I would have received

the bill as 13484 and 13000 no much different and avoided penalty and interest.

B) bill dated 19dec08 to 18jan08

1) I have also not received this bill statement at proper time because you have not sent it.

2) I was not awaire of old dues and thought I would have paid entire ammount because of non availabilty of old bill statement.

3) So whatever penalty and interest is not valid

4) 17 JAN finance and service taxes are duplicated, so your bill statements are biased and not errorfree.

C) bill dated 19jan08 to 18feb08

1) I have also not received this bill statement at proper time because you have not sent it.

2) I was not aware of old dues because of non availabilty of old bill statements.

3) So whatever penalty and interest is not valid

4) 12 feb and 18feb service taxes are duplicated, so your bill statements are biased and not errorfree.

In view of the above discrepancies and intentional neglegence from your end, I am not going to pay the

penalties and interest that you have charged in all three bills. I can pay only the amount I have used for buying.

Therefore you are requested to prepare and send me the original new bill for the amount I have used for

buying purpose reverting back all the penalties and interests.

To: "PRAFULLA D MAHULIKAR"

Dear Mr. Mahulikar,

Reference Number 220320093189

We refer to your email message dated 21 March regarding your HSBC

credit card.

As per statement dated 18 February your outstanding was INR

17531.05 and due date for the same was 12 March.

Your account has been levied with a late payment fee due to delay in

receipt of this payment. This has been illustrated in the Credit Card

Services Guide shared with you at the time of card issuance.

? With effect from 05 March the Late Payment Fees will be revised

to 50% of Minimum Amount Due (subject to a minimum of Rs. 400 & a

maximum of Rs. 750 per month?

As a service gesture, we have reversed the late payment fee of INR

800.00 along with the service tax levied and the credit will reflect in

your ensuing statement.

We are sorry that we cannot reverse the finance charge levied towards

your card account, Interest - free credit is available if the entire

billed amount is settled by the payment due date. If part payment/no

payment is received by the due date, the outstanding amount from the

date of the statement attracts finance charges at the rate of 3.1% per

month for Gold credit card and 3.2 % per month for Classic credit card

respectively.

Additionally, all new transactions also attract a finance charge from

the date of posting into the account once the account uses the extended

credit facility. The finance charge is debited on the last day of the

billing cycle and is applied using the "average of daily balance"

method.

Your Credit Card statement is generated on 18 of every month. While

generation and mailing of the statements are controlled at our end,

there may be instances when you receive a statement late to your mailing

address due to unforeseen postal delays. If you do not receive your

statement within 12 days from your billing date, please contact our

Phone Banking Service on the telephone number on the reverse of your

Credit Card.

HSBC also offers e-Statement facility for credit card customers;

statements will be available on your secured Internet Banking id for

your view anytime. You can view your statement without any delay on the

day it is generated.

Please feel free to write to us if you require further clarification.

To: "PRAFULLA D MAHULIKAR"

Dear Mr. Mahulikar,

Reference Number: 290320091795

1) We refer to your email message dated 28 March regarding payments

and fee that are incurred on your HSBC Credit Card.

We take this opportunity to inform that late payment fee is levied due

to delay in receipt of payment. This has been illustrated in the Credit

Card Services Guide shared with you at the time of card issuance.

? With effect from 05 November the minimum Late Payment Fee on HSBC

Credit Cards is INR 400 or 30% of minimum amount due (the higher of,

subject to a maximum of INR 600)?

Further, the minimum payment due each month is 5% of the closing balance

indicated on your statement.

Finance charges will apply when there is part payment / non receipt of

payment against the outstanding balance and this charge is calculated on

the total value of the outstanding balance from the date of the

transaction at the prevailing rate of interest as decided by the bank

from time to time and these charges are debited to the account on the

last date of the billing cycle using the? Average of daily balance

method?

All new transactions will also attract a finance charge from the date of

transaction once the? extended credit facility? has been availed.

As a one time service gesture, we have reversed the late payment fee of

INR 400.00 levied and the credit will reflect in your ensuing statement.

We regret our inability to reverse any further charges levied as the

same is due and payable. Please make complete payment towards your card

outstanding on or before the payment due date to avoid levy of finance

charges and late payment fee.

For a full listing of our revised tariffs you can visit the below URL:

https://www.hsbc.co.in/1/2/personal/credit-cards/credit-cards-service-gu[36]

ides-and-tariff-sheets

2) We would like to reiterate that non-receipt of statement would not

affect cardholder? s obligations and liabilities as mentioned in the

cardholder agreement. Hence the incremental charges on your account are

valid.

3) Please note that whenever the Bank offers credit facility to its

customers, we offer a Card Service Guide detailing the repayment

process, tenure and periodicity of repayment. However, if you do not

adhere to repayment schedule, a defined process in accordance with the

laws of the land will be followed for recovery of dues. The process will

involve reminding you by sending you notice or by making personal visits

/ phone calls and / or repossession of security, if any.

Our collection policy is built on courtesy, fair treatment and

persuasion. We believe in fostering customer confidence and long-term

relationship.

In order to avoid the collection calls, as an effort of the bank in

recovery of dues, we request you to please effect a minimum payment

towards your credit card outstanding balance regularly.

The total outstanding in your card account is INR 17, 863.50 as on date.

Please feel free to write to us for further clarification.
