My name is Amar Bhardwaj, We have a Maruti 800 a/c on the name of my father Mr. Madhu Sudan Bhardwaj. I am having very deep trust in Maruti but the incident which just happened with me at your dealership Batra Auto Company at Faridabad has completely shaken my trust towards Maruti. Whenever we plan to buy a car my first choice was Maruti I always recommend it to others also but now I am not sure weather I will buy any product of Maruti now nor I will recommend it to others which I always do…..but before taking any action towards your dealership I thought it is my moral duty towards you to make you aware about your dealership that how they are making fool of Maruti customers and are playing with the image of Maruti Suzuki..
I bought a maruti 800 from your dealership “Batra Auto Company” in Faridabad 4 years back…..now since my car was getting overheat I send it to batra to get it repaired…. my air conditioner was also not working properly due to Overheating problem and these two complaints was clearly told to the Service person and the same was mentioned on the job card as well.…I also told them to do the service if necessary so that my car will be fine…..now they call me in the evening and told that they have done all the work so I collected the car from them and they have charged a amount of Rs. 3900…I paid that happily. They handover my car around 6 pm so nobody is interested to go for a test drive anyways I took my car to my home which is 5-6kms away from Batra very next day when I am going to noida, I felt that I m facing the same problem like overheating and even the a/c was not working……!! I am working as a Sr. Sales Manager in a MNC. My schedule is very hectic & I do not have any other conveyance without my car. I have to face so many problems but People at Batra least bother about it. Even after service they didn’t cald me once to take a feedback. I cald up thrice to lounge my complaint but they didn’t take any action because I think a customer who has already paid is having no more value for Batra. After few days again I go the workshop again and told them about that ….I also ask them that if the work has not been done can they explain that why they have charge a amount of Rs. 3900 ….they told that they will do it again First time they didn’t do it deeply but now we will do it deeply “Shocking, This statement given to me by Mr. Pandita (DGM Service)” I was speechless after getting a statement from a DGM, If seniors behave like this then what is expected from the Juniors …..! Now they are asking for Rs 2500 again for radiator… Even they have changed so many parts for that they have charged me also. Can you explain why they have not done the work in first attempt and if not then why they have taken a huge amount for the work which was not done…..??? Now I have a clear cut impression that if any customers who are visiting Batra keep at least Rs. 3-4k additional in his pocket because this is the punishment for visiting Batra which he has to pay anyhow because they have monopoly in Maruti dealership in Faridabad and these people only know that how to make a good bill for unnecessary things, which was not even touched while servicing.
The amount I paid was a trust to maruti that we can easily trust a brand like maruti….my marriage is in December first week and I was going to buy maruti swift for myself but now I will go for it after your reply that why should a person buy maruti because it is not that we buy it for once we are always in touch with maruti with after sale service and for me it is only after sale service which can build a relation ship ……!
Kindly advice me either I should go top the court or highlight this chapter in media…! I am waiting for a hearing from your side.
