This to lodge a complaint regarding faulty subsciptions being issued by Airtel.
Yesterday I received an sms saying sms BP to 121to get your current bill plan details.sms NBP to 121 to get details of newBill plan offerings. I sent NBP to 121, in response in got an sms having details of various new offerings out of which I wanted details of Simple 149 the code for which is SP 149. I did not get any information of the plan, however in half an hours time my inbox received 4-5 sms saying "Thank you for subscribing to Hello tunes/Astrology service/Airtel missed call Alert Seva/Airtel Radio/animations etc. and that you have been charged for the same.
This is to bring to everybodys notice that I have not subscribed to any of these services nor do I intend to pay for them. This is some fault in their software which they need to repair. Hope fully I will not be subject to trauma of moving from office to office to resolve this matter. Their customer care numbers are not approachable from my numbers as I have a Retailer plan. This is the only way I can put forward my grievances to the company and to consumer forums.
