Dear Sir,
(Subject – VERY POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED BY RELIANCE GSM IN JHARKHAND.)
I am a subscriber of RELIANCE GSM SMART in Ranchi (Jharkhand). My mobile number is 98351-40000. I would like to give it in your notice the bad service that the telecom company is providing. To name a few of the problems - very frequent call drops, cross connections, one side voice etc etc.. The number of call drops here is alarmingly high. The quality of service of RELIANCE GSM is the worst possible service in the country.
It is a matter of surprise that it is almost impossible to talk on the toll free number (9835198351 or 200 from the reliance gsm smart phone) for complains on the GSM connection I have. The network is always busy and the call cannot go through. In case of the Reliance GSM I can bet my last penny on getting through the customer care numbers. YOU JUST CANT GET THROUGH the customer care numbers.
Apart from this they keep calling for promotional offers as early as 8 am. A few of the numbers from which the calls come are – 9835153849, 9835153897, 9835157681. All these calls are usually for downloading ring tones, caller tunes, horoscopes, friendship etc etc. We were already troubled with the sms’s and now you have theses advertising calls from your own telecom service provider. These calls are really very annoying. I am registered in the DO NOT CALL also but all in vain.
I am unable to chose any other telecom service provider because I have been using this number since long and this number is in wide circulation.
I request you to please look into this matter as it involves lacs of subscribers and most of them are really fed up with this service provider. I am writing this letter to TRAI as I believe TRAI is a an organization which is focused to help the telecom consumers in getting better services. “The mission of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is to ensure that the interests of consumers are protected and at the same time to nurture conditions for growth of telecommunications, broadcasting and cable services in a manner and at a pace which will enable India to play a leading role in the emerging global information society.”
These points can be easily verified by TRAI and the service provider can be pressurized to look in this matter seriously.
