Lost mobile - Deactivate the SIM

Dear Sir,

My father lost his cell during travelling today. Hence request you to block the SIM at the earliest, to prevent any kind of misuse. Its a BSNL Postpaid connection, cell no 9413385667. Please do let me know, how to get the new SIM with the same number. Hope to get a positive response from you as soon as possible.
