I was also contacted by Caltex Oil Malaysia, Limited with regards to employment opportunities. After completing the their 14 question questionair I was offered a Quality Assurance position. I was then directed to contact IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT OF MALAYSIA, for applications for Visa/Residence Work Permits and fees. The very same day I received the fees list which ammounted to:
(a) Visa Application Fee - $190
(b) Commerce and Industry Fee - $175
(c) Foreign Affairs Fee - $190
(d) Expatriate Work Permit Fee - $190
(e) Entry Clearance - $170.00
(f) Residence Permit Fee = $150..00
Total - $1065 (USD) (To be paid by you)
I was then instructed to: Send above Total Fee Strictly via Western Union to the Attention of our Accountant in-charge NAME: MR. ABDUL MOHAMED.
