I moved from Mumbai to Bangalore with Caravan Packers and Movers. I was promised that my household goods will be brought in full load (not shared with other party goods) and was charged accordingly. I was also promised that I will receive my goods in the same container, in which it was loaded at Mumbai. Not only did I receive my goods in a different container but my goods were brought in part load (sharing with other party goods). I was also promised that I can pay the rest of the 40% after unloading and unpacking. Well, once the goods arrived at my doorstep the company refused to even open the door until they were paid up the balance amount.
Moreover I received the following items in a damaged condition
TV frame cracked
Marble temple legs broken
Sofa legs broken
Bed part bent
Computer's SMPS damaged due to mishandling
One of the cartons containin my bags totally damaged and my bags torn
Inspite of having paid for insurance now Caravan Packers is making me literally beg for clearing the claim for the damages done by them.
