I purchased Fiat Linea from Car Galaxy, Gokul Nagar, Thane on Mar 16. This was based on a corporate scheme. Initially per quotation, I was asked to pay Rs. 70, 154 against Insurance and Registration. Since, I my residence was at Navi Mumbai, I was not required to pay the Octroi charges.
After a month of purchase of car, I was given the receipt for Insurance and Registration which amounted to Rs. 56, 301. I asked for the account for the balance amount of Rs. 13, 853 (Rs. 70, 154 less Rs. 56, 301). As per the Car galaxy representative (Mr. Santosh Mandal), these are hidden charges and are not reimbursed. He asked me time to have it reimbursed and informed me that he will reimburse (as a commission) against sale of another car from his showroom. It has been over 2 months now and I have not heard anything.
I have all the receipts for money I have paid this car dealer for Registration and Insurance and also have the quotation they provided at the time of purchase of car to prove this fraud. For the past 2 months, I have been constantly calling Mr. Santosh Mandal (# 9820951381) to reimburse the extra amount. But there has been no progress.
