Dear Sir / Madam,
We had booked a courier to M/s MistryWoods Tourist Village, Kakkabe, Coorg, Karnataka-571212 on 18 Mar 09 vide TPC - BLR 63121995. The said courier had not been delivered till 24 Apr 09, until the addressee called up from Coorg. Therefore, there has been a delay of one month and a week, which apparently holding courier by the nearest Professional Courier Office in Coorg. Further, no intimation was given to the sender or the addresse with reagrd to delay in delivering or returning. Finally, the addressee at Coorg had to visit the courier office personally and collect the same on 25 Apr 09.
We had earlier despatched a few ccouriers through Professional Courier to the same addressee and all those were delivered promptly. Hence, the laxity on the part of concerned staff at Coorg, which led the parcel being undelivered for a period of almost 40 days (within Karnataka) needs to be investigated and corrective action taken to deter them from delerection of duty.
We would also like to know about the procedure for claiming compensation for the loss of image caused to our Company due to delay in receipt of a very important document by our client.
