IRREGULARITIES IN PPF ACCOUNT

I am holding account No is 18253 with Sector 16 - A, Faridabad Post Office Branch. Every year there is mistake in the calculation of interest i used to get. Either these guys don't know how to calculate the interest or working very casually. Because of this behaviour i generally calculate interest for particular year on my own as homework for myself & then i go to Post office to get their figure. Most of the time i get wrong figure from these guys & even showing my calculation doesn't solve the purpose & the answer i used to get is " Go & write complaint against me then only i will check, main to aisa hi hoon. " this is so embarrasing that after standing in queue for 1 hour you get such a bad response. Then starts my actual excercise of submitting application to main post office & from there it gets forwarded to concern department & finally things gets shape after 20-25 days with great humiliation.

its having one more technical problem like the same entry will be updated in my Income Tax Return file, which you can imagine...

how some body can expect a working lady / gents to invest so much of time because of the nusance of a group of people. i believe because of a bunch of people whole community of post office gets a bad name.

from our family five of us are having PPF account & this happens to every account every year. Imagine the extent of probblem because if one entry is wrong it will effect others also.

hope some body can look into this & act strongly.
