I have been a chase customer for 7 yrs. I make my payments on time and when I have extra I will pay more than minimum. I just got notice that on July 1 the new purchase interest rate goes to 17.24%. I started at 9% it is now at 12%. I called and told them I will cancel my card. I can't believe that after getting billions of dollars they will jack up the interest rate of customers who pay ontime and have been loyal. I told them they were part of the problem with the economy not turning around because they forget it is the consumer who will stimulate growth. They hit me with more fees and interest I won't use their card. Anyone who has their card should cancel it.
