One tatkal ticket was made in favour of Shri Tapan Karmakar with 4 others by 0952 on 15/06, from Amritsar to Bandra Terminus and boarding DSj, but the same train was cancelled and passengers informed me to cancel the ticket after 2 days and I have tried to cancel could not succeed and later it was shown that post dated journed could not cancel and ultimately I mailed to irctc and reply recd by irctc that it will take 90 days or more to refund the amount . why it will take to refund the amt 90 days while the train was cancelled and refund should by given instatly.
so pls suggest me whether I should pay the amt. to passenger full amt. due to train cancelled or give me existing rules.
