Change of original parts during servicing

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a Mechanical Engineer working for auto components/ parts manufacturing unit in chennai.

i bought a new swift (TN 20 AK4024) during the 2nd of may and during may end i met with an accident and had given my car for repair claiming the insurance to m/s popular services at anna nagar, chennai (show room address) and their service center at saligram in chennai. i gave my car for repair on the 26th of may.

The problems reported for correction is

1. Rear Right side door jammed needed replacement with new door. - was agreed upon.

2. the front bumper needed change

3.Rear bumper had scratces and needed painting - we agreed upon for payment and i paid for the same.

4.Front driver door had scratches and needed removal of scratch and re paint.

The car was in very good condition during running and no problems with the interiors. All the above were discussed / agreed upon with the insurance company after conducting thorough inspection of the vehicle.

My complaint is as follows,

1. The rear right hand side door was changed and was not fitted properly and making some vibrations during closure.

2.The interior of the doors (that is the fibre board where the switch for window panes up / down movement and lever for opening the door is situated) was changed with a older vehicle.and that too for 3 doors this was changed.

3.the time taken for serving was nearly 2 weeks.

4. even the seat cover removed were not properly fixed at the rear.

5.The switch of window panes up/down movement fell down during driving just after 3 days when nobody really operated the switches (i was alone driving the vehicle then)

6.the rear bumper had the paint peeled off.

7.the vehicle was delivered to me on the 12th of june 08at around 9.00 pm.

8.i complained the above faults only after findng this when i thoroughly inspected the vehicle the comming sunday on the 15th.

9.i called up the service persons on monday the 16th, but nobody turned up. i presonally took the vehicle to the showroom and shown all these defects to their territory manager, who accepted all the faults and promised to inform the concerned.

only on the 19th, after several followups, the service persons had sent one driver to whom i have expalined and the vehicle is delivered in teh service station.

these all mischevious things have been done at this service station. i only wonder if i really made the right choice of buying new vehicle even though i had several other choices, just because the kind of service that is practically being done.

i hope to get the vehicle by tomorrow and only think that all the above problems are fixed.

as a responsible citizen, i thought that the manufacturers who really depend on the dealers for thier sales and after service in this competitive world today, should know the brutal truth where the dealers are taking ride the customers like me.

at the end of the day, i only hope i get justice and my car gets corrected and due attention by the concerned.

i only hope such things do not repeat again.

can i get an honest reply from the concerned at the earliest in this regards?
