City services is the authorized servicing center for Electrolux washing machine. The timer of our washing machine was damaged and was replaced by City services. The new timer was guaranteed for six months. The replacement was done on 10/9.
The timer stopped working in February and there were some other minor problems as well. The engineer came on 19/2 and replaced the other parts, which were not under any guarantee. He said he would replace the timer in a couple of days and it would be free of charge since it was under the six months' guarantee. But no one showed up afterward. We made many calls to city services and every time their representative told us that some one will arrive 'tomorrow' or 'a couple of days'. It's been Almost four months now and our machine is still not working properly due to the defective timer.
We especially bought this particular model which promised a hot water wash of up to 90 degrees for white cottons. We paid a huge sum extra just for this feature. Now we were told by the engineer who visited us that we should not have run the machine at 'such high temperature and that is why the timer is damaged'!
