Bought recently a VD Tech HDMI DVD Player DVD-606 SR. from M/s Compact International, 246, 2nd Floor, Laxmi Plaza Ind. Estate Compound, Sab TV Lane, New Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai-400053. (Tel # 022-40791234, Fax # 022-26367523) vide their Invoice No. 6364 DATED 05-05 against my order no. 000072561 dated 29-04 for Rs. 2250/-. The DVD player was purchased through Citi Bank Card Scheme with Deals 4 India. The material was received through courier on 06-09. The DVD player was received in a really bad shape. Its cover was misfit. Cap for DVD slot was lying separately in the packing. A number of features of the DVD player is not working or working with lot of efforts. I informed the company vide my complaint # 10504 dated 08-05 wherein they had asked me to send the material back to them by courier and after checking it they will send me either a repaired DVD player or send me a replacement. I was also told that one of their Senior Person will give me a call and talk to me today before 1800 hrs about the same and will do something about it but the attitude of the person picked the phone who informed me about it was very casual and as expected till now nobody cared to give me a call to resolve the matter. I request you to kindly look into the matter and instruct the company to replace my DVD player immediately.
