I bought a ACER Laptop 5920 (invoice no.4123 dated 26th May'08) from Acer's authorised dealer from Dehradun"Comp Care". It worked well 13 days and after that it's display went off.
I took the Laptop to ACER service center at Bareilly and after 3 days they told me that the problem is in "inverter port" and they have to import it from Bangalore. After 9 days they told me that " no no. the problem is in LCD." and now they have to import this part also which again may take SEVERAL days.
So overnight from Bareilly I brought the laptop their shop after the shopkeeper told me that the problem would be solved in 2-3 days but it did not happened.
Then they told me that it will be repaired by 20th June. Again I came all the way from Bareilly to Dehradun and they showed up and told me that now it will be OK by 24th but as usual it didn't happened. Then they told me that even we haven't received the part yet and delayed it further.
No proper response has been observed till now and they are not even picking up the Phone.
