WINDOWS VISTA NOT SUPPORT DESIGN SUPPORT

Windows vista home basic not support to install mechanical design software.so plz reply me how to install these software in my system. Is it possible to install windows XP in my system because windows XP is supportable windows for these software. Plz reply me as soon as possible.
