Dear Vice President,

First of all I would like to inform you that your office is trying to provide services to the customer against their limited strength or due to lack of knowledge or out of insensitive approach towards the customer.

1> I hold a credit card of your bank (card no:4339-5112-4375-5717), I used this card in the month of May-o8 of amount of Rs.3333/-, and against which I had paid Rs.3335/-, in advance around 14 days prior to circle date.

2> On non-finding on my bank statement in next 6 days, tried to contact your office to confirm about it receipt, but you customer service was not operational, the given Cust. Service help desk no. was changed. I went to every level to reach the customer service no. but failed to get that, at least I wrote you on same site complaining about the problem facing at that point of time (registered with you).

3> Almost about 15 days I got a call from your office, most probably from your collection team, that my chq. is out of dates, there was a mistake in date, I was unaware about the mistake, however, I immediately requested the executive to send someone to collect the payment in cash from me immediately, but they refused to send someone for the same, and asked me to reissue a fresh chq and drop at the same clearing box (Janakpuri, west Delhi area). So I asked why can't send someone to collect it from me, they reverted to me saying that they do not provide such services.

Then I asked why they are informing me today when I had sent deposited chq. in their clearing box about 14 days back. They had no answers, hence I had requested them to please do not impose any late fee or other extra service charges in this regard, as you made mistake in informing me on time, though I had send the chq to your office long before my cycle date. But you have failed to inform me about my mistake, which I was not aware of it. Honestly I accept that I was not aware of the mistake.

Apart of that it was my first experience with your bank. You officer in-charge at that point of time, agreed with me and asked to submit a fresh chq. Which I did it again by issuing a chq. of Rs.3335/- as I had issued the previous one.

4> There after I recv. a statement and SMS stating that you bank have recv. the payment of Rs.3335/- from me, my balance Rs.780/- approx is due, which I need to pay. When I contacted to you customer after a great struggle, your executive completely refused to accept the version and commitment made to me earlier by your executive on removal of late fee and other service charges. Then I asked your executive to put me to your Manager, or ask him to com eon line so that I can speak to him and explain the facts. But they refused to put him on line and said He do not have time to come on line and if your so much interested then you may have to wait on this line for 2 to 3 hours.

This sort of response I have got from your customer service. It funny that I had spend that I had paid, I had paid before time in advance date, but by some mistake on date the could not got enchased, I am extremely sorry for that. But what you office did was that... they did not bother not check my check, secondly they did not bother to infom me on time about the problem on chq. Thirdly they kept the chq. in their custody still the cycle date, and deposited for clearance, and it got invalid/bounced. This is the reality.

Now I had 3 options, you tell me what you want me to do...

1> I close my account and destroy my card and from today onward I will never ever make any use of your card.

Or

2> I will go to the Consumer Court and explain them about the whole facts and repeated harassment made by your bank on the subject and response that I had received from your end. I will seek justice from the court in this regard.

3> thirdly if you remove all the charges levied /imposed on me, and free my card account to zero due. So that I starts reusing the card once again.

Now the choice is up to you, whether you want to retain a customer of my kind with your bank or not.

Whether you think in a justified and logical manner or not.

I look forward for a favourable revert from your side in next 7 to 10 days time period, if do not get any positive response I will discard my relationship with your bank forever. I promise you, what I said I will do that.

Fyi.. I know well about the whole process of collections in credit card, so I request you to please do the needful and consider my request and remove all the charges laved against my card account.
