Wrong bill of 60, 000 after blocking card

Hi,

This is sugandha dhar, working with icici direct.

To my surprise, yesterday i received a mail from icici card divisin stating that i have an outstanding balance of 60, 000/-

Two years back when i lost the card, i called up the call centre and blocked it on time.

After that there was no communication from their side from past two years. No mails, no statements, no calls.

Even i didnt bother as i knew that the card was blocked and i had nothing to wory about.

Now suddenly they have come out with my outstanind of 60, 000/- which is insane.

That means they didnt block the card, and it was misused.

As i can guess, their system must have been down or slow or hanged as usual. But the point is, is this the customers problem or fault?? Why for no fault of theirs, the csustomers will always suffer?

Kindly look into the matter and help me.
