Requiring FIR for Police

Hello Sir/Madam

I lost my purse and in that i had 3 Debit card and my driving lisence. Using my debit card some one has swiped money. I enquired about this with bank officials and they request me to provide FIR from police. I enquired in a local police station but they are telling that is not in their limil and forwarding it to the other station kindly help me
