This mail comes to you from a company called ONLEO GLOBAL SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. Kindly consider the following complaint and revert to us as soon as possible.
We had sent three separate consignment of items from our office at Bangalore to Delhi BY DECCAN 360. The items so transported were for the express purpose of an exhibition called LED EXPO 09 which was held at PRAGATI MAIDAN, New Delhi from 18 to 20 Dec 09. The items were transported against the following AWBs.
1. AWB NO 50000084175 DATED 08 DEC 09
2. AWB NO 30000020444 DATED 15 DEC 09
3. AWB NO 30000020455 DATED 16 DEC 09
Now, the items were received at Delhi on time. After the EXPO winded up, we transported the same items back by surface transport through Deccan 360 vide the following AWB.
AWB NO 500000223722 DATED 20 DEC 09.
When the items were on the way back to Bangalore, a tax officer at Bellary road check post near Devanahalli, stopped the items and issued a GC stating that the items being transported back to Bangalore do not have any proof of having been shifted to Delhi. He has written a letter stating that the items be released to us on the condition that we show proof of their movement from Bangalore to Delhi. Inspite of showing a copy of the form 515, our declaration certificate and copies of the ibid AWBs, the Commercial Tax Officer at Koramangala is not ready to believe the truth.
Kindly tell us as to who is responsible for the items after the items have left our office.
Are we supposed to get a stamp and signature of any of the check posts when the items went from Bangalore to Delhi?
Is the AWB such a dumb instrument that it does not hold any water when questioned about its legality?
Is it possible for you to provide proof in the form of a stamped document (sent by us) from your Delhi office that the items were indeed received at Delhi?
Is it possible to provide a copy of the log entry of the transportation details from Bangalore to Delhi?
When does your responsibility end in the whole drama?
Why are we being asked to pay a hefty penalty to the tune of Rs 4 lakhs by commercial taxes for no mistake of ours?
Do you think we will knock your doors in the future?
Please answer me and help solve this episode in right earnest. We do not intend to malign your company name. Let us look forward to an amicable solution. Waiting for your express action with bated breath and the consternation of having trusted you in the first place.
