My laptop which is DELL STUDIO, 15.5 screen, windows vista, intel centrino, 6 cell battery, service tag no 7YG73BS. I took it on the month of june. from past one month there is a problem that has occured in my laptop. It unexpectedly goes into shut down mode with a blue screen apperaing which write about some boot up problem and the memory being trasferred to physical dump.
Moreover there is a statement of some bad sectors being boot up is coming on the blue screen where finally the laptop goes into a shut down mode. This problem happens at a frequency of 6-8 times a day. Whenever i log on to the laptop it first goes to the physical dump scenario and then it restarts again.
Also the laptop has become very slow in terms of its operations, it is giving a very slow speed in terms of opening of any sites, any word document. There is also problems with the wifi functionality of my laptop. even though i connect to the local or public networks, internet through wifi is not getting connected.
in case of the battery back up, at present my 6 cell battery gives me a battery life of only 20 minutes. another concern for me as far as the battery back up is concerned.
Some of the softwares which i downloaded and copied have stopped working although the licensed version were present with me.
The touchpad of the laptop has not been working properly. At times it does not work at all and then i have to restart the laptop for it to work properly. The same thing happens with the keyboard. At times the button do not work properly and then i really find it difficult to navigate hence i have to again restart the computer as logging off also does not help.
