Guileful treatment and faulty Information to the customers for new connection.

Through you I would like to communicate the treatment I received from reliance communication for new mobile connection through their advertisement-

That the reliance communication ltd. issued an advertisement" Double Damaka offer" (Get LG 2630 with post paid connection for Rs. 999/- & free Adidas bag worth Rs. 990/-). They also gave postpaid plan detail of Rs.124, according to plan, they mentioned that call to any mobile is at 50 ps per minute. Based upon advertisement contacted the dealer at Ponda Mr. Mahesh on his mobile no.9326005380 regarding the call charges under that plan he confirmed that under said plan tariff is 50ps to any mobile in Maharashtra, Goa & Mumbai. I also confirmed from him that the charge even to dolphin mobile at Mumbai is 50Ps., accordingly, he sent to me a person Mr. Mohit Shrivastava (mobile no.93707 99907) sales executive of the Co. to collect the form and amount. I have given the form CAF no 2306858938 to him on 30.09.2006 along with Rs. 999/- and a receipt was given with the confirmation that the charges for any mobile including dolphin mobile at Mumbai is 50ps/min.under plan NJ 124 along with handset.

After two days after receipt of the form and amount two days I was informed by the dealer at Ponda (Goa) that since the charges for dolphin mobile at Mumbai is not 50Ps as advertised by the co. It was surprised to me that if the facts are like that how the official responsible to co. given wrong information in person as well through advertisement. Then I enquired with the call centre on no. 3033 3333 of the co., the call centre informed that the call charges to any mobile including dolphin mobile under plan NJ 124 is 50 ps/min only. I also informed that the dealer at Ponda informed me that call charges to dolphin mobile at Mumbai is not 50 ps per minute to the call center of the company and on the basis of same they are not avoiding to give new connection through they have accepted my form and respective amount.

The captioned facts were informed to the co. through feedback.

I also contacted the office of the co.on no. 3033 3377, on 1.11.2006 to Miss Kakoli, she confirmed that under plan NJ 124 the charges are 50ps/min only to any mobile even to dolphin at Mumbai, then I have given the captioned information and other details, she assured me that she will forward my compliant to the seniors, as to how the wrong information was given to me and why on this ground refused for new connection. I requested to Miss Kakoli if your charges even for dolphin mobile is 50ps/min then you send your representative from Goa to me, for which she assured that within one or two days the co's representative will contact to me.

Upon my complaint to the co. and long persuasion I received a call from one Mr. Satyajeet Gaoonkar, of the co., he on phone was so rude and irresponsible and only wants that I should not pursue with the co. even he was not ready to listen the facts.

Upon fail to get any response from the company I wrote my complaint to corporate office of the company, the company always uses to reply their regret, without being any reason why they have not given me the new connection while I have submitted my form and amount to the company in time.

In the meantime I also received one call on 24.08.2007 from the co. of one Mr. Jaydeep who requested me to send the scanned copy of acknowledgement, to unable the co. to review the matter, accordingly I sent the scanned copy of acknowledgment to the company on the same day i.e.24.08.2007. Again I received the reply from the co that I have not sent the acknowledgement, then again I informed the company that the same has been sent on 24.08.2007 and again on 01.09.2007 I forwarded the scanned copy of acknowledgement.

On 28.09.2007 once again received the regret from the company that since NJP 124 plan is not available for fresh subscription they are unable to process my request, but again the company has not replied that while my application dated 30.09.2006 was with the company when the plan NPJ 124 was available, the reason for not providing the connection under said plan.

Sir, it is a usual game of guileful treatment from the companies to the customers, and therefore you are requested to highlights the same through your valued newspapers, to protect the interest of common man and to highlights the treatment of the companies.
